And thank you ANN for posting this story. Never thought Dramafever would picked up the Taiwanese version. Hopefully they'll get Meteor Garden in the future. But now fans of Itazura na Kiss can get to watch all 3 versions (not counting the 8 episodes 1st Japanese drama that came out in the late 90's). I'm currently watching the Korean and the Japanese dramas side by side on Hulu and I'm finding both interesting. I'm glad the Taiwanese version is coming too.

You know the story in Itazura na Kiss is so universal, why limit the live-action adaptation to Asian. Why not give non-Asian countries a shot/take on the story. Would I mind to see Itazura na Kiss a Brazillian or Mexican telenovelas makeover?? Why not!!! I would love to see a UK or US take on the story, the story is universal it can be adapted by any country, race/ethnicity should not matter when it comes to adapting Itazura na Kiss into live-action.

Well, Only asians can pull off the act...
Imagining it in a US or UK form is kinda......hmm unless they pull it off good. Though Mexican adaptation is interesting haha.

It's like My Sassy Girl (The korean movie)
When it was adapted to Amercian.......It was such an epic fail......

Well I didn't see anybody complaining about Zhang Yimou's A Simple Noodle Story which was a loose remake of Coen Brothers Blood simple despite the remake being a screwball comedy instead of being a serious film unlike it's original film. I did recall South Korea's Couple or Trouble was a remake of a 1987 American film, Overboard. Nobody complain about that too.
