There's this anime Noein ~ Mou Hitori no Kimi e (http://www.noein.jp) coming out in October, I wanted to add it to the anime list. Actually, I've tried once aaaaaaaaaages ago but I figured either it didn't get through or it was ignored. So I tried again just but it says "We have an entry with the exact same name", but I can't find it in the anime section.
Where is it hiding? |

Um, in the "waiting to be approved titles" list, because we're lazy/slow/OMG THERE'S SO MANY. >_>
Since it's been brought to attention, I'll go ahead and approve it now. anime#5887 |

ah, sorry, thakns.
I know it takes time for it to be approved, just that I didn't know that it still "exists" even if it's not there. Well then again I was being kind of hasty... |

It does that so we don't have too many people submitting the same anime at once. For example, if "Urusei Yatsura (TV)" was in our waiting to be approved list, that title would be locked up and no one else could submit it. Saves us from having 50 "waiting to be approved" of the same title. Make sense?
There's just a LOT of titles waiting to be approved, and it takes a while to make sure they're real anime or manga and that they're not in our database since it's so huge and anime go by so many titles sometimes. o_o; (Even something as tiny as a punctuation mark being there or not will make the system think it's a different title... For example, Mai-Hime or Mai Hime would be counted as two different ones.) |
