Usually in these types of game, all ya need is to pimp visuals and minimal gameplay and it's enough to sell, so maybe gameplay must be really bad that even pandering visuals can't overcome it that they have to keep delaying it. Laughing

Or its precisely the fact that its going beyond that that's causing the problems. This is not the typical visual novel game that most LN adaptations (like OreImo, Haganai, Kokoro Connect, Sakurasou, etc.) get, it's a more typical RPG of some sort with two different types of battle systems (regular combat and debates).

Would it kill you to actually learn something about the game before bashing it?

Not to mention that the cast of playable characters could easily expand to over 100 characters in a heartbeat. Complete with voice acting is no easy feat either in terms of expenses.
