The continuing high sales of manga is good news for a lot of reasons. One of the less obvious is that it saves comics from being percieved as Superhero City. I like superheroes okay, but they've become the kudzu of comics, overrunning every other growth, and manga is changing that by simply outselling superhero comics. Put superdupers in the movies where they belong, and keep comics diverse!
