I never really realized how popular Terra Formars was until the last day Jojo aired on tv and there was an ad for it (looked like it was getting a drama CD or something, I don't remember exactly).
Also nice to see Ore Monogatari and Gunka making the list too

Very true.
Probably worth giving a look to Terra Formars and company too, this isn't the first time I've seen these mentioned, may as well find out what's going on before they get 100s of episodes or chapters or something...

Doesn't everyone want a shonen series about competitive ballroom dancing to be published state-side? Let's raise our voices and be heard!
Seriously, why isn't Viz publishing Assassination Classroom? It can't be any worth than Death Note violence-vise, can it? C'mon Viz!

And boobs as well. But then these are only Bookstore staff recommendations to uninitiated customers, which must exist even in Japan it would seem. This is not what has been flying off the shelves as soon as those same staff fill them up with. In short, actual sales.

Are you suggesting that none of these titles are selling well?Cause I am quite certain that first 5 sold more than 100,000 copies.

Not at all. Usually when staff are recommending something it's because that something isn't selling well and they are trying to help it along. Market traders do that all the time.
