Anyone know what it is called I'm talking about the one at the beginning of the show the song plays of the name of the show
Also while I think the show is cool even in english I've heard lots of people say the english translation sucks its nothing like the japanese one
Now I have yet to listen to the Japan version yet and check out the subtitles but unless they are totally different subtitles from the english version then I just don't see the problem yes its not exact but they are basically saying the same thing
I have to say if anything bothers me about the show its that lots of times he'll be taking a right turn but he'll turn the wheel left, now I now you do this while in a drift to keep control but I mean before he even goes into one

The openning song is by Move and I think the song is call around the world. Move does all the openning for Initial D, including the 4th stage.
I like the english dub but didn't like the music. Why? Because of the awesome euro-trance that get your adrenaline pumpin is only in the original japanese version. I watch both and the Japanese original version with subtitle is far superior.

If he's talking about the Amerikan Dub, then it's Initialize by the Talentless DJ Milky.

Totally off the subject...does anyone listen to any of the soundtracks while drifting?
I find the Eurobeats AWESOME day/night driving...haven't tried while in drift.

But I prefer Wangan Midnight myself.

Dub:
Initialize
Japanese:
All Around the World (1st Stage, 1st openning)
Break in 2 the Night (1st stage, 2nd openning)
Blazin' Beat (2nd Stage)
Dogfight (4th Stage, 1st openning)
Noizy Tribe (4th Stage, 2nd openning)
Anyway, The dub and sub are totally different. While the same plot occurs, they talk entirely differently, and the music is changed. I don't particularly like the music in the dub, but the real problem is the music direction. It lacks the timing that the original score had, and that really ruins it for me. If you don't mind subtitles, then watch the Classic mode, it is far better.
