Glad to see Hyouka so high up on this list. If it gets licensed I'd be a very happy camper. It's really sweet, heartfelt, and smartly written.

I'm really happy Little Busters did so well.. including DVDs, it sold over 10k. Little Busters: Refrain is all but guaranteed now. |

Why does Pixar do so well in Japan? Toy Story has an excellent trilogy and all, but it holds other things down.

On the list, Madagascar is not Pixar BTW (it's Dreamworks), but yes Pixar does well in many places (it's like the new Disney in that regard). More and more of those are gonna appear on the blu-ray charts as the Hollywood studios wind down DVD-only releases in Japan. |
