You know, this actually looks decent. I enjoy Shinbo's work, but I had doubts about this one. I might end up picking it up after all.

I check out every single fansub anyway, but I have high hopes for this.

Agreed! I haven't watched much magical girl anime, but between that staff list and the fact that there's Latin in the title I think I'll have to check this one out.

The last magical girl show I've watched was Card Captor Sakura, and I'm not into this genre, but if Akiyuki Shinbo is directing it, then at least I'm going to give it a try.

14?

Positively over-the-hill, for the heroine of an otaku-oriented magical girl show.

you must have missed Nanoha then. That too was also directed by Shinbou, or at least the first season was.

The magical girl genre is my favorite, so I'm looking forward to this. I hope it gets picked up for a legit streaming release, as I don't watch fansubs.

You're right about the age, but who knows if this will be "otaku-oriented" in that sense? Maybe it'll surprise us and be something awesome and out-of-the-ordinary~

I like the fact that they all have bows and arrows and rifles instead of pink wands. The cat is cute and the cast is awesome, and the staff is just plain sick. I'm really looking forward to it; I even blogged to let out all my excitement!

(Plus, I'm fourteen, too. I'll probably be fifteen by the time it finishes airing, but...it's always fun to have a heroine my age. They're hard to find~)
