A Delay or a longer Delay for the bottom of page feature

I just realized you guys added a feature so when you hit the bottom of the news page it will add more news stories below, a lot like the Facebook newsfeed, which is great and I love it, but on my computer the new news stories pop up so fast that I end up scrolling past w/e I was looking at if I am dragging the scroll bar to the bottom because then it has already gone to the 'new' bottom which wasn't exactly what I was aiming for.

Sorry if I didn't explain that well, but a delay or longer delay would really help when scrolling through when dragging the scroll bar.

on Mac OS 10.6.7 using Firefox 3.6.16
