seems they did a nice job carving the rock; but couldn't it be just a bit bigger or is the town of naruto really that small?

It looks a heck of a lot better than it does in the anime. They did a great job. I'd be a proud nerd to get my picture taken next to it.

Blog Topless Robot compared this to the town of Metropolis Illinois latching onto Superman as its icon. Both are a little bit sad.
Also, I'm not sure if a friend of mine went here in a recent trip or just found some other promo material for the new Naruto movie. I know he got one of the fliers pictured.

That's just fiberglass or something, right? I doubt that roof could support a real stone sculpture that size.

It's a good replica but somehow.. it's kinda out of place I mean, on top of a government buidling?
But I really like the sculpture I would die a happy person when I see this in real life xD
