That's sad. How old was she? She looks young in that picture.

I've seen Mahoraba, but I've honestly never heard of her.

She can't be very old. Her site doesn't give her year of birth, but she débuted in 1998 so the photo can't be any older than that.

No age? She died awfully young for a heart attack.

I saw somewhere (ANN has updated it too) that she was about 38 years old. Too young to go, we needed her compose more music.
Rest in peace ビーチェ

I remember trying to search for information of who "Anne" was a while back (assuming it was someone's alias), but never found anything. I really loved her music in Mahoraba: Heartful days, and I bought the character song album for the series (the only import CD I own actually), in which she did the lyrics, composition, and arrangement for all of the character songs (with the exception of lyrics on Sayoko and Asami's song).
It's really sad to hear she passed away at such at young age.

This is really sad news. I, too, tried to figure out who Anne was but didn't get anywhere. Her work remains special.

38? Wow something just doesn't seem right about this. I hope that there wasn't any kind of allergic reactions to some kind of drugs or something. This is just unbelievable, wow.
I hope we get more information about this sometime soon.

Well, when we were diagnosed with high cholesterol as children back 20 years ago we were told we'd have to take medicine or risk a heart attack before we reached 40. In this day and age where everyone knows about cholesterol and "healthy" is a major selling point for food (and Japan is healthier than most anyway) that shouldn't be an issue though.

I'm devastated. I've been a fan of hers for years, and have all of her albums and maxis, plus all the rare tracks from other various collaborations (there are quite a few), and only came across this news as I have been searching for the Rimokokoron maxi for the last 4 years unsuccessfully and when I googled it I saw the sad news.
I didn't even know she had done Mahoraba and Kirarin Revolution. I'm glad I now have some more material of hers I can get. I sort of only know her from her J-Indie/ Shibuya-kei material
Her music was often truly inspired. Some of my favourite songs of hers would be Raincoat, Listen, Tsuioku, Dandelion ~ Osozaki no Tanpopo, many of these near move me to tears.

As I know from personal experience, just because a doctor tells someone they need to eat better, get exercise, and take their damn heart medication, doesn't mean they will
Not sayin' that this is necessarily the case here, but some folks have genetic tendency towards high blood pressure, high-cholesterol, or heart problems and tend to die young, especially if they aren't very careful.

You can still have a heart attack even with a healthy diet and plenty of exercise - Douglas Adams died of a heart attack while doing his regular exercises.
