You could definitely tell the growth. So glad the Hilton extends the convention center for continued growth.

you used "excepting" when you mean "accepting" on the Baltiport page.

I already reserved rooms at the Hilton. It may not be cheap but it was totally worth it. All the employees were very nice to us, and the indoor sky-walk was a blessing (especially for my cosplaying friends).

It was also good to see the panel/video rooms in the Hilton were being put to full use this year because last year it didn't seem so.

Well, good to see that Otakon is growing. Based on previous year's attendance, I thought that they had pretty much hit their plateau. Although if they really wanted to show growth, they could have done like a certain west coast convention and only report turnstile numbers Wink

I hate to be that guy, but how long will it be before we see another attendance cap at this rate? Otakon will only keep growing. The arena will be out of commission when the city has the money to redo it. Otakon may need to get creative to keep growing. Maybe other downtown venues like Camden Yards, Pier Six or -- thinking really outside the box -- the Hippodrome could be pulled in.

There is the "new" National Harbor. The Gaylord has a massive convention center, and then all those places to eat at... It was pretty nifty when I was there last year.
