"Yoko" for the animator even though 陽子 = ようこ Youko (f) but not よこ = Yoko (f)? (see above)

The singer may be a different case with
洋子 [ようこ] Youko (f)
洋子 [よおこ] Yooko (f)
洋子 [よこ] Yoko (f)
and her website using "Yoko" while Wikipedia uses ようこ = Youko; if ANN prioritizes her own way of spelling her name then "Yoko" is fine here.
