I have had Demon Sacred on order at TRSI for so long. These companies love toying with us. Sohryuden, also. I know they're more obscure titles, so it's great they get licensed, but then they never make it out.

So, does the release of Demon Sacred indicate Tokyopop is healing up, or that they are desperate for a new "winner"?
They seem to be surviving on titles such as Alice in the Country of Hearts, which is really the only one that seems to make the listings anymore for TP. However, it's really hard to guess what the real state of their company is in right now.

I can't think they're expecting it to be a huge hit. It's pretty old-2003. I'm ordering it in a "maybe they'll license more if this does well" mode because I want Yakumo Tatsu

Ah, that's true...Though, I guess they could be hoping for any sales or trying to attract readers of Jyu Oh Sei. It's a good thing for the fans, though.

It was nice to finally get Tactics vol 8 this year. They also posted more KKM, another Gakuen Heaven, Peacemaker Kurogane, & Silver Diamond which will be nice if we actually get them.

Tokyopop seems to be doing much better these days—if you watch their releases, they've been getting a lot more titles out than during their... hibernation-period? back a year or two ago, and I'm happily following quite a few of their series. So a sign that they're bring back a series that'd been on hold is a good thing to me. They've been very reliable with meeting their announced release dates in past months, so I would expect this to be out in September like it says.
And now I'm curious about the series... I haven't read Natsumi Itsuki's work before, but maybe I will check this one out in September!

You've probably seen it all ready but...
Back in Feb. DMP said that Enchanter was on hold since it didn't fit into their production schedule and hasn't been selling very well.

Liked Jyu Oh Sei (TP did it in 3 omnibus volumes), so looking forward to Demon Sacred. Hope DMP does well with digital VHD, though the print ed. is extremely lush and worth it
