I hear a lot of people have good success with CD Japan. The site's in english, too.

if you can read japanese, i recommend amazon.co.jp, as they typically can provide better discounts..

www.houseofanime.com has an amazing selection right here in the US and also provides free shipping on purchases over $10 to all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Very reasonable prices too, average about $15 a CD! As far as I can tell they sell no bootlegs.

I was just looking & they are bootlegs - sorry to disappoint you. Pretty much any single anime CD priced under $20-25 is going to be a bootleg. Dead giveaways are the labels (SonMay & Ever Anime are the 2 most popular). The one place I occasionally shop from that has nothing but legit stuff is Robert's Anime Corner. Then again, almost any con will have nothing but legit stuff too since the pretty much all ban bootleg merchandise of any kind.

Can't recommend any j-pop since I don't own any, but any soundtrack by Yoko Kanno is gonna be fantastic - she's a wonderful composer!!

Hmmm, I should have known something was up, I just figured they had a great source. I should have done the easy thing and just search for Sonmay, that turned up 12 pages worth of results. Ouch.

Crap, why can't they see bootleg toys, I love super robot knockoffs! Very Happy

Well atleast their DVD sellection apears to be domestic...
