Finally a title by Mitsuru Adachi! This really made my day. I am a huge fan of Touch, so this really made me so happy. Hopefully Touch and his other works will follow.

While I love sports manga, I'm not much of a romance fan, so I never got into it. However...I know that this will make a bunch of a people very happy. Congrats to them.
And maybe...just maybe...Rookies might see a NA release someday in the future? I wont get my hopes up, but at least this is a step in the right direction.

This increases the odds that the wonderful anime version might eventually get licensed, although I still think that's a longshot.

I read this news and actually started to cry from happiness. I'm so pathetic. Really wish it were Touch, but I'll take any Adachi manga I can get at this point.

Wow, for some reason I thought Viz already released Touch, I must have been thinking of Shortcuts.

Man, my heart's been leaping a lot this week. I also hope the anime comes here, but that's just a dream for now. Oh well. One more title to pick up.

Nope, no Touch. It's just the first two Short Program volumes so far. Would love a legal release of Touch; I've even been looking for other language editions so I can read it offline.

Nice! I've been waiting for this to happen since I started reading Cross Game last year; I knew this would be the first Adachi manga in the US!

Wow, finally Adachi manga!
But I wonder a small bit why they didn't pick up H2 or Touch first.

Great, just what I needed, another manga series to buy!
Seriously though, I'm ecstatic! This is fabulous, and I hope the anime comes here, too. It's one of the few recent good anime out there.

I would say for H2 it would be because of length (34 volumes!), and for Touch it would be age (the series turns 30 next year) and length (at 26 volumes it is 9 books longer than Cross Game).

Must exclaim excitement: WOOOOOOTTT!!
It's been a while since I last bought manga with Fruits Basket's final volume. I guess I'll be back on the manga buying scene thanks to Adachi. Now all that's needed is the anime and I'll be a giddy anime fan for 2010!

Touch has been released in French, as have many of his other series, if that helps. (Personally, my French is a lot better than my Japanese...)
This is pretty exciting news! Here's hoping for a re-/total/unflipped release of Short Program.
