I didn't know Matsuri special ended. Hopefully Cat Street and Matsuri Special are licensed. Kamio also published a few other series Ano Hi ni Aitai ( 5 volumes), Mary-san no Hitsuji (5 volumes), and Sayonara wo Arigatou (1 volume). Boys Over Flowers was made into an anime series. Was it ever made into a drama? There was a well received movie also, correct me if I'm wrong.

I've gone off her after the way she ended BOF. She must have gone to the same school of manga story telling as Rumiko Takahashi.

HanaDan was made into a Taiwanese drama, 2 seasons of J-dorama (which the movie concludes), and a Korean drama.

Mohawk52, actually you should give Cat Street a try. It's a whole different ball of yarn than the way overlong BOF. It's a fine dramatic story from start to finish. There is a typical shoujo romance going on, but the focus of Cat Street is the dramatic story of a girl that has been a recluse for some time and is trying to reintergrate into society. And it's notably short, only 8 volumes long.
I would love Cat Street to be licensed. I don't think Matsuri Special will be licensed though, it seems the story of a girl who has professional wrestling skills isn't making much of a dent with any shoujo fans, even if there are 2 guy characters in the series.
I really hope this new series coming up is another good, but short series. One overlong series was enough, way more than enough.

It shouldn't be expected to... it was a shonen series.
