Johnny Yong Bosch has captured leading roles in many influential anime, including the roles of Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach, Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass, and Vash the Stampede in Trigun. He is also well known for his portrayal of the Black Ranger, Adam Park, from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Johnny is joined at Tekkoshocon by fellow Power Rangers alumni and voice actors Barbara Goodson, Dan Southworth, Derek Stephen Prince, and Robert Axelrod.
Johnny is also the front man for the edge rock band Eyeshine. Hailing from Southern California, Eyeshine returns to Pittsburgh with its infectious melodies and exciting live show. Eyeshine joins Japanese visual kei group Suicide Ali, fan favorites the LeetStreet Boys, Japanese pop singer Mari Iijima, and singer-songwriter Vic Mignogna to provide a weekend of diverse musical experiences at Tekkoshocon. Also returning to Tekkoshocon with an all new show is Uncle Yo, fan comic and self-proclaimed mecha attack survival specialist. Yo will be recording an hour of geek-oriented standup comedy sure to please every fan as well as participating in several convention events. These guests join a Tekkoshocon lineup packed with concerts, panels, workshops, a Gothic and Lolita fashion show, a cosplay prop building competition, and dances all three nights. Preregistration for the four day show ends March 9th, and attendees are encouraged to preregister at http://www.tekkoshocon.com to take advantage of discounts and the exclusive premium badge, which offers a commemorative tote bag, early admission to the dealers' room, and priority admission to select autograph sessions. |
