I live in Ohio but I'm not driving 2+ hours to Akron or Cleveland. Bring some screenings to Columbus!

NO, Cincinnati!
...actually, I'm quite surprised Ohio gets any screenings at all, but I just wanted to get in on the pointless begging.

In Ohio the tickets at both theaters cost 40 plus dollars but it's two movies and I might go but also have Ohayocon to attend.

Atlanta didn't even get very good crowds for Eva 2. Hopefully we'll at least get Eva 3.

Happy for everyone who gets to see this in their city -- kind of cool that rust belt cities like Cleveland and Pittsburgh get in on Madoka, and not just the usual trendytowns (how often is Austin jealous of Akron?). Of course, I'm hoping we get it in my town soon too.

Still no screening in St. Louis! Get with the program producers!!! Als a Nashville screening would be nice since its only two hours away, but I'm just dissappointed that St. Louis hasn't gotten yet since that's my home away from home.

I'm not all that into Madoka, but I love the idea of anime films getting theatrical runs in the US near their JP ones.
I would be awesome if a certain monster mecha film with 3.0 in the title could get a similar treatment...

Are they specialized theaters, and does the ticket come with concessions included? Otherwise you're paying 20 bucks per film, and most special event tickets I've seen are more like 12.

The Seattle showing is already sold out, at $20/ticket.
Of course, I also looked at the theater it's at, and there's no way I'm paying that much for a movie there. It's not that great of a theater, and friends who saw the Eva 2.0 movie there said that Sakura-Con's panels room was higher quality than the theater.

$20 for 4 hours of awesome anime in a theater? And it's within public transit distance of my campus? YES!
Ticket bought for Pittsburgh, getting pumped.

yeah, i think it sold out before ANN posted the news. I don't think you will miss the movie that much anyway.
They should show it in high end theater like Village Roadshow Gold Class.
