Ugh, I can't wait for this. Seems like it has been forever. I hope they can do more Moto Hagio titles after this.

This looks amazing.
Fantagraphics releases the most beautiful stuff.
I hope they're able to get more Moto Hagio (Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai suru please!) in the future.

Man, I've had mine on pre-order since April (when I thought it was coming out in August). But did the MSRP increase? I could've sworn it was $35, I pre-ordered it on Amazon for 44% off for about $19.50 now it's 45% off and ~$22
Still, I'll wait patiently for a 70s shojo translated by Matt Thorn, especially after how gorgeous a release A Drunken Dream was.
Also, Amazon says it's coming out Jan 5th, of course I hope Amazon gets and ships it early

Yeah I was wondering about that too, got an e-mail from Amazon a few weeks ago about it being delayed. Maybe Fantagraphics is releasing it a bit earlier, but I'm kind of a cheapskate and would rather wait a month for my $19 pre-order

That's great news. I was worried that Fantagraphics was going to drop the title because the release date kept changing.
Hooray! Thank you Fantagraphics for all the fantastic titles (Love & Rockets, Meatcake, Hate, Wandering Son, etc.)

In my experience, street dates for manga bear no relation to reality, especially when Amazon's involved. I've received some Yen titles a full month early.

I'm pretty sure it's gone up in price a couple of times...like every time the release date has been delayed.
I am so excited for this book but can't bring myself to look at the preview. I've wanted to read this title for probably ten years now but always held off on importing it or reading scans because I knew we would get a proper English edition someday, and I want to read it all for the first time in one go. If I can wait this long, I can wait a couple more months, right? Eee!

Really excited to see we're getting this. Sad it's gotten delayed again and again, but worth waiting for.

I had no idea it was this close to release. I just pre-ordered mine. Thank you Matt Thorn and Fantagraphics for getting this book for us!
