Please do! It's brilliant
And can I say again, it is NOT BL/Shounen-Ai or Yaoi (not sure how that particular misconception ever started)
More Fumi Yoshinaga is always welcome too.

As a graduate student in religious studies (area focus on Japan), this is a must-have on my manga list, I'd never heard of it before. Talk about a look at Japanese perspectives on religion and spirituality! I seriously doubt this will ever get licensed... gonna have to look for it online or in Japan.

Congrats to Suehiro Maruo!
The Maruo book deserves the awards! --- "Panorama-tou Kitan" (aka The Strange Tale of Panorama Island).
It is indeed strange about him winning the "New Artist" prize, as he's been a mangaka and illustrator since the early 80s, winning prizes for Spanish editions of his titles, etc...
His earlier published works from Seirikogeisha, EnterBrain, and other smaller pubs are not very well known even in Japan (but not UNKNOWN). Strange but still great for him (and his newest book).
-Ryan!
