Let me say right now, I don't know if this can be the responsibility of ANN, since I don't know who owns the rights.
But I like the idea and it seems other think it's good too. Perhaps start a survey (and don't forget the 20% rule) to see if people would be interested?
I'd love it if I could have a Nina book setting next to my Calvin and Hobbes collection.
Let us know if this is something ANN would consider, if they can.
Thanks.

I've always enjoyed Nina, and even though the strips are available online it's always nice to have them in a paper format. Heck, I have both the Cyanide and Happiness books and those are also webcomics available online.

Didn't Zac years ago try to have Myoopi plushies but the plan fell threw due to the company backing out or something around those lines.
Is there truly a infrastructure for this book and what about the over head costs as well? Given that this book is offered online for free, how would this be priced though?
Also is there still a market for physical copy comic books such as this? Read a Barns and Noble article stating that those types of books didn't really sell as well as other books.
As for exclusive rights, I think the artwork is owned by Robin Sevakis, but the term Anime News Network is owned by Christopher Macdonald.

I like the idea. I'd back it if it was on Kickstarter.

Count me in! I'd love to have a hard copy version of Nina.
Kickstarter's a good idea, I would certainly make a commitment.

We've actually been toying with the idea for some time, but Robin's break affected the numbers, so we decided to hold off for a while. Now that she's back we're working on building readership again, so hopefully we can move on this sooner rather than later.

She had me at "WTF CORN".
Okay, before that, but still, thanks for the update.
I'd love nothing more than to walk into the office and slam down a comic strip my coworkers will never understand.
