How do you find good anime?
As of right now the only preview option I have is AS. Is there a catalog or website(s) that give good reviews and storylines? Matt |

o.O Certainly. There are many way's to check out anime you would be interested in without purchasing it.
Rental service's save you HUNDREDS. Yes, hundreds. I started up with Netflicks, and I haven't bought any anime since. Now, I can buy other stuff! Another way is bit-torrent, although I advise against it unless you have cable modem and you plan on buying the series when it's liscenced. Adult Swim & Toonami are getting more heavily based into anime so check them out. ANN review's should also help point you in the right direction. And finally, here's a great site for you to look into what's out there. http://www.animeondvd.com. Find what's out there that YOU enjoy, and move on from there. Here are the Top 25 anime sites voted by Animefringe visitors for 2002 and 2003. Don't forget to vote ANN for 2004's best anime site. |

I usually watch the fansubs and if i like it, i'll buy it when it's licensed. But whenever i see anime DVD's on sale for cheap, i'll just look up several reviews and ratings of the anime and if it sounds good then i'll buy it

Check your area for a comic book store or collectibles store that also has a DVD shelf or rack.
They usually have catalogs that you can special order any anime DVD or boxset you want. You can also get them through any retail video store -- most of them would be glad to special order whatever anime you want. |

NO! I've seen more! And you're right, cartoon network does have a decent dub-lineup. I just prefer subs... |
