Thanks for posting that. Seeing the release date for NANA gives me hope that they do plan to release their other unfinished/unreleased series.

Actually, things ARE speeding up. It used to be one Single Volume every two months, but, as of Volume 16, it seems to be one Single Volume per month now. So, as a result, production of the season sets will come sooner. |

So NANA, I was interested in it when I saw one of the themes was music but haven't got any of the graphic novels for the fact that it's labeled Shojo Beat. So is it "only" a manga/anime girls would like or is it just in Shojo Beat because of it involving two girls?

Nana's got enough maturity to appeal outside of the female persuasion... but while music plays an important role, at heart it's a relationship story- between lovers, between friends, or both- so be sure you've got an interest in that. If you go here, you can sample 2 chapters of the manga for free. Give it a read, see what you think. |

Well, I'm a guy and I rather enjoyed NANA, and intend on buying it. Of course, I'm a sucker for mature character realistic character drama (admittedly some of it could be avoided...but then, so can most things that happen in real life). That being said, anyone willing to give it a try should find it, at the very least, passable. |
