Man...anime is really starting to look and sound the same. Nothing stands out about this at all.

Read the novels...thought they were interesting. At least now I may have something to look forward to this summer to keep me entertained. Not much good stuff in the spring so far compared to last year or the year before...or even this past fall or last fall. Not to mention that last year's summer season was overall horrendous.
The leek stick is making me lol The title of the series reminds me of Moetan but I'm a sucker for magic series so I'll try it.

This looks uh...hmm. On the one hand, generic moe. On the other hand, I'm a sucker for magic in a modern setting. We'll see how it goes!

From left to right; the typical "cool" guy who somehow isn't as powerful as he looks, the teacher who makes a annoying laugh and for no reason always makes jokes at bizare times.
In the middle, there is the female character with a "dark and sad" past, yet doesn't even try to overcome her fears. Second to last is the all to common "silent and emotionless" female character who rarely ever contributes to helping in any way other than making snide remarks.
Last, but of course never least is the moe tomboy. She apparently wants to do her best, but hates having to do actual work other than whining to do anything about it. She likes to eat and sleep, but doesn't like studying or training to become stronger.
I seriously can't stand shows like these, only the ecchi harem shows are worse than these types of shows.

^lmao, those are all very good possibilities. I personally was thinking along the same lines except that I think the purple hair girl is going to be a "tsundere."

I'd get into several choice reasons as to why they're pumping out "generic" shows like this, but then I'd get ripped apart worse than Sachiel in episode 2.
Either way, it looks like a turd.

Since the purple haired female cast member looks somewhat like Anju from Karin/Chibi Vampire, the "silent and emotionless" gene instantly poped up in my mind. I am glad someone besides myself saw where I was coming from. Though I've only been watching anime for about 8 years now, I can spot anime sterotypes somewhat easily most of the time.

Bah. The show has Ai Nonaka and Haruka Tomatsu. At the very least, I'll be watching the first episode to try it out.
(And besides, I liked the magitech stuff in the preview.)
