What would you consider the rarest item you own out of all your anime, manga, models, etc...

My rarest item is probably the Swordfish II snap-together model released a few years ago. The instructions were in Japanese but I still managed to assemble it. Cool

So what's your rarest item?

Not sure if I would call it rare, but my Orion Video Streamline Dub VHS of Akira is definitely the oldest piece in my collection.

Akira portfolio (six prints Otomo drew based on the manga). Its not so rare or in demand that people pay tons of money for it though.

Heidi of the Alps, original VHS spanish dubbed tapes, all 52 episodes. I still can't believe how easy I got them. The show had been off the air for years, but on a not so special day, I happened to pass by the TV station that used to show it, so I decided to ask if the had it, just to kill some time. They looked a bit and came back with the tapes. Bought them on the spot, cheap! The crowned jewel of my collection, and to make matters sweeter, Heidi is in insanely high demand among collectors in my town. How sweet it is! Very Happy

Well, since most of my dvds aren't really rare or limited addition, I'd say the complete set of Ultimate Anime cards is pretty rare... Embarassed

I also have the original Orion Streamline VHS dub of Akira (there was a later one with a different slip cover). That's probably the oldest and rarest anime thing I have, unless you count the DVDs for NGE and Steel Angel Kurumi whose slip covers are autographed by some of the American voice actors. Cool

Authentic 8 Piece Naruto Gashapon set from Japan (produce by Bandai). Not that expensive but at least it's not a HK bootleg one that are selling on ebay.

Probably the Nasu Animanga autographed by Masao Maruyama, which I won in a BAAF raffle, the Raijin Fist of the North Star autographed by Buronson-Jake Tarbox told me even he hasn't met him!-a Raijin City Hunter marker pad and a live-action City Hunter dvd sleeve autographed by Hojo, and a ticket stub for Millennium Actress autographed by Kon. I probably should've brought Grave of the Fireflies and Panda Go Panda dvd sleeves to get autographed by Takahata, back when he was in L.A., but I figured the free movie screenings
and him doing a Q+A was enough, and he was probably tired. Oh yeah, and a Crying Freeman Perfect Collection Vol. 1 graphic noveln autographed by Mark Dacascos. Edit: I also know someone who was able to get Amano to draw two of the Gatchaman characters for him.

As difficult as it is to get hold of anime in Singapore, I think my most precious item is a huge poster from the Playstation game Luna: Silver Star Stories, complete with autographs of the American voice actors on the back. Probably one of a few (or even the only one) in Singapore. I know, 'cos I've asked around about it.

Anime I think, it will be some rare DVDs like Last Exile, Haibane Renmei, Azumanga Daioh, and some others, which you will never be able to find in the regular stores. I got them from my source. Also my GITS movie DVD and Blood: The Last Vampire DVD which I bought in Oz. You will never get these uncensored versions in Singapore 'cos of censorship regulations. Appleseed on VHS (the original movie) which I bought many years ago and also the same movie on DVD which I bought 3 years back, and some others I can't remember.

That's about it I think.
