Awesome. Any news on if they'll be omnibuses or not? I'll double dip if they're nice editions. Now someone PLEASE license Gokinjo Monogatari, Kagen no Tsuki and Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai.

I have a small corner of my room in-between my two shelves where I keep the manga and anime I intend on selling in the future.

Guess where I chucked my TP versions of Paradise Kiss?

I would really like to see Neighbourhood Story and Last Quarter get picked up in the future.

^Well I would sell them asap while they're still valuable. I've been slow about selling my Adolf manga, I need to get on that. But I kinda wanna keep my volume 1 since it's actually German, and my only foreign manga.

Anyway, I rented this from my University library ages ago (they also had Adolf!), but I just couldn't seem to get into the series. I'll try renting this again when the normal library gets it whenever perhaps.

I already own the anime, but I sure would like to see how the original played out. Guess I gotta add this to my mental "to buy" list!

New covers, color plates, new translation, in three omnibus books printed in the large Japanese Trim size.

Should look pretty spiffy.

Darn, now I wish I hadn't jumped the gun and bought the Tokyopop version when RightStuf was running low on it.

The series is alright, but I don't know if it's something I'd buy twice.

I'd wait to find out wether they're flipped first, this being Vertical (and I being bothered regarding that). But colour plates sounds promising.

Buster: I've asked Viz about Neighborhood Story at AX. They drew a blank. Vertical just Tweeted that they want to bring over that manga here, but that they gotta deal with Shueisha.

I highly doubt that they would flip a title that was previously released unflipped in North America. I also think that they would have mentioned if it was flipped during the announcement.

I know where you're coming from, though.

I vaguely remembered that not all of Ai Yazawa's titles were with one publisher. Good to know.

LOL... Outside seinen Tezuka or Chi we don't flip our manga. So ParaKiss will definitely not be flipped.

Ed, I love you, but I am also angry at you because I panic bought TP's editions when I heard they were going under. But I'll forgive you Laughing
When can I give you my money for these?

That's great to hear. Very Happy I'll definitely be re-buying this. Thankfully, I bought TP's editions a while back. Here's to hoping you can get the rest of her work since Viz obviously doesn't care to release it. Speaking of Viz, any chance of you guys getting Phoenix?

Wasn't impressed with this series, so I don't see why it needs to have another release.
