This was the news I was waiting to hear! Oh, Crunchyroll, I forgive you for a week of underwhelming announcements. You've given me just what I wanted for Christmas, which doesn't even make sense, because it's April. To celebrate, I shall, as is tradition,listen to "A Night in Tunisia" for the umpteenth time since this series was first announced. |

Hooray! This was my most anticipated title for this season. (It's a shame it starts when school starts back up for my district.) Looks like I'll continue visiting Crunchyroll again.

Great, great news! And on Crunchyroll, no less! However, it is great to see the show being streamed, period. It really was begging to be, and it's nice to see both this and noitaminA's other series this season, tsuritama, being made available.

I was hoping someone would pick this up for streaming as well. And with it being Crunchyroll, that makes it even better (hate seeing something announced for streaming, only to find out the stream is from Hulu). Been looking forward to this series ever since it was first announced.

Kids on the Slope was picked up by Sentai, so it seems they may have leveraged some MG from Crunchyroll for exclusive simulcast rights to help pick it up. And Crunchryoll lists Tsuritama as published by Aniplex, so the R1 distributors (other than AniplexUSA) may have simply passed on that. |

That aniplex is probably aniplex Japan not aniplex USA. Chances are that DVD/bluray rights for tsuritama are still being negotiated and aniplex Japan just decided that CR was the place to stream it. It could end up with aniplex USA or funi or nisa or sentai still, I think (or none of the above!) |
