Ok, I'm going based on the hints and the manga on this one (cus I haven't gotten a chance to look at its anime), might it, per chance, be spoiler[Bodoro from Hunter X Hunter?]
I can't be sure how he would've been animated (mostly meaning his colors here), but they look similar and he fits the description (at least the first one). |

and yes, I am going to be name picky here. I need the whole name, not just part of it. edit, it's been a few hours, so i might as well toss is the obvious in case anyone had doubt: Hint 1:spoiler[yes, it is CGI. the entire show is CGI. yes, it is an anime, it is the encyclopedia.] |

No offense, but that hint is kind of BS and isn't helpful in the least bit. One, it's obvious that it is CGI. And two, it would have to be an anime for you to be using the picture. So it's basically a useless hint...

I think there's alot of us (myself included) that know what show it's actually from. But being how you said you're going to be picky on the name, then that's what's going to stump most of us. I made a decent effort to find his full name, but all I can find is Mr. <so and so>. Which sounds like it isn't going to be enough for you to accept.

I have the title of the show but the encyclopedia doesnt have any character names at all.
The best I could find was spoiler[Mr.stain from Ga-Ra-Ku-Ta: Mr. Stain on Junk Alley] I know you said you were going to be picky on names but the rules say the generic name is fine, so I don't think you can go against jets rules. Edit: this is what the rules say

unfortunatly, i was being picky on the name because the answer that Cow-Boy_Be-Bop submitted is an entirely different character (hence my pickiness). So, it is incorrect.
but, I can post a more useful hint now to satisfy all: hint 2:spoiler[the reason I am being name picky is because the characters names all appear in the ending credits (and each episode has a different one, since they have different characters)] |
