They own IGPX, and it's at 2am. They don't lose as much money out of it.
(Not that they lose money at all; just not earn as much as they could have for those situations.)

Well there are those that liked IGPX. it was a good series. sure it wasnt successful as toonami and IG Productions wanted it to be , but they did get an A for effort and for trying something new.

though i have a feeling that if CN never had a part in the series and it was just an IG Production only product, it may have been more popular.

also though the raitings for one piece are good so far, it may have gotten even higher if they did the enies lobby from the start. especially since bleach is now in it's filler stage again.

Except filler is "content added to a series that wasn't in the source material".
Not "content that doesn't have a major tie to the plot."

You're changing the meaning of filler to something completely different.

That's what some anime fans say it is, but the term has existed long before anime fans used it. Filler has been used as "stuff that doesn't advance the plot" long before anime and even to anime itself. I only use that word to describe the "not plot" stuff, because plenty of anime have anime-only stuff relate to the plot and tie into the show, especially ones where they split off from the manga like FMA and Soul Eater

First, to really judge that you should wait for the story to end, especially considering how Oda links to back events all the time.
Second, a story isn't only about plot but about characters, too, and in this mini-arc Sani and Zoro learned to work together for the first time.
