I find Nascar as boring as watching paint dry, which is quite thrilling on occassions. So correction, I find Nascar more boring then watching paint dry. Find a picture of a formula 1 car. Those are neat. I also like those McClarens, but considering this thread is about clown cars, I don't think any of this is relevant. I want one of those Toriyama cars. It's from the Kitsch factor, and I'm a Toriyama fan.

Okay, point taken, but it should have been obvious from the pic that it was a stock car... Smile

While were on the subject of pointless races.....

NASCAR has nothing on the All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC):

Well, I think that F1 is duller than watching paint dry. The cars almost never pass on straightaways, and the same guy wins every damn race. Touche. Wink

Haiseikoh, I'm interested in the JGTC, but I don't get Speed Channel so I can't watch the California Speedway exhibition... Crying or Very sad

i don't really like circuit races in general. I just like the f1 cars more than stock cars....so i don't see your touche.

I like watching drift videos. Those are fun. So yeah...I like rally races, and anything that actually has turns that go either right or left on the same track! Hmmm, speed is fun...but not to watch. It's funny, the US seems to love sports and various other things that are ok to play, but dull as a brick to watch(baseball, nascar, golf, drag racing) I would love to ride in a nascar car, or hit some baseballs, or play a few rounds, or zoom past the starting line in a drag race, but I don't find watching other people, that i don't care about, doing it all that thrilling. Ofcourse mangas tend to make any of these extremely fun.

If you think that's ugly, have a look at this.

Are we on the same tangent here?

I don't dispute the Honda Today is a real car, I was asking about the OTHER car that one of them bought in the manga, which turned out to be a lemon. But from it, they managed to make it into a semi-capable police car.

According to the both the English and French versions of the manga, the ultra-lemon that Natsumi bought just after getting her driver's license was a Subaru R2 SS.

Good thing that Miyuki knows a thing or two about mechanics.

The front car is actually a Toyota Celica. Notice the "Bull" Logo in front of the car.

I always saw that as a shoguns helmet.

Mohawk:That car is not ugly it is just long past its expiration date.
Not mohawk:
I like the Toriyama car it is like an old hotrod or something like that. It fills me with a creepy nostalgic feeling... the kind that makes me wand to grow a gotee (sp) and a mustashe that is all pointy and yet curved at the end.
