Most of the people who work on these J-music shows spent YEARS laying the groundwork to get them to happen, and some even started in high school. As far as the small town goes, yes they're not going to play there, but there has to be some major city to work with nearby. Bottom line, lots of people working on these shows come from small towns, many of them may live in a big city, but have had to go to where they will play. Bottom line, the fact that there are so many concerts here now is largely due to a small group of very dedicated people, who have spent thousands of hours and dollars of their own to get the J-music scene going here. Doing these shows is a HUGE amount of work, but like with anime cons, the best way to get one to come to your area is to do the work, and find the best location you can that you can still reach. |
