She didn't feel like she needed to, she was being mindful of her sister's devastation. Aisha lost one parent (one she never really knew), Norn lost two, including the one she loved more than anyone else in the world. Celebrating the return of her own mother right in front of Norn would have been cruel, so she elected to hold herself back. It was a beautiful moment when Norn urged her to express herself. One of the greatest things in an extremely satisfying season ender was seeing how close Norn and Aisha have grown.

You may be right, though it's not clear how much time passed and how much Aisha knew before Norn was informed. She could have greeted her mother right as soon as she saw her, but presumably didn't. She may have been sent off to get Norn right away without knowing anything more than Norn did. At the very least it was clear that she held herself (mostly) back when being informed about Paul's death.
So it may have been for Norn's sake as you surmise, but it may have been that she was just acting as a proper maid should until she got permission to act like the child she is.

We'll have to disagree here. It is definitely not family business imo. This is a marriage issue and should be discussed between the husband and wife (at least initially if at all). The only person required to agree/approve of marrying Roxy is Sylphie. Maybe you include Roxy in the conversation, but that's it.
I suppose you could make a case if Norn & Aisha were their children (though I imagine most parents would not include their children for this type of conversation), but they're not. They're his siblings who are living in his house.

I mean, in-story they have some concept of unhealthy relationships since even Paul recognized the extreme level of attachment Sylphy had to Rudy, and promptly bundled him off to tutor Eris. |
Yes, I quite agree, but that was more for them to grow-up and mature more, separately, than to prevent them from getting together in the future.
A healthy relationship is one where each person loves the other, each person respects the other, and each person is happy in the relationship. Everything else is just dross.

I still believe my interpretation is correct, but I have to admit, that's a nice piece of counter-reasoning there. I think you might have at least a part of it. However, Aisha is good at reading cues (which is why she's so good at manipulating people), and seeing the mournful looks on everyone's faces as well as their body language, including that of her mom's, would probably have been enough in itself to have her holding back until she knew what the score was. Still, I thought it was pretty clear that she was at the end there mostly taking Norn's feelings into account (as was Lilia, it seems, as she only held out her arms after Norn spoke as well).
I like that the sisters are closer, but also glad Aisha can still get Norn's goat when she wants. That shot of them reemerging after Norn has chased her clean around the house was hilarious.
As for it being family business, I'm sticking with that. Rudy's not a dope (except when he is, like most people), and had to know Norn would strenuously object to the marriage. You can't therefore exclude her from the conversation. Getting Sylphy's agreement in isolation and then presenting it to Norn as a fait accompli would have been an awful idea, and on several fronts.
And of course, if you couldn't exclude Norn, you couldn't exclude Aisha. Lilia, however, notably left the room. She's a Greyrat, apparently, but not by blood. Also, you'd want to protect Zenith in case she can sense great hostility, which she might be able to.
I also agree with jmckenna15 in terms of the romance being set up a long, long time ago. Just as his relationship with Sylphy was, and just as his relationship with Eris, sure to return at some point, has been as well. If Rudy suddenly decided to marry Linia or Pursena without further preamble, now that would have been much more out of nowhere. Although that seemed to be what the Man-God wanted. Hmmmmm. (Either that or he so fundamentally misunderstands Rudy that he thought the promise of a little beastgirl nookie would be enough to persuade him. The idea that he has so limited a grasp of what makes Rudy tick would be interesting in itself, since it would suggest a rather major blind spot for a "god.")

thats unlikely to happen though since in volumes 15 & 16 of the light novels, rudy dont marry those cats but with eris after having that talk with his future self, as well as siding with orsted to go against the man god
especially in more ways thst one when the next season will lead to a chaotic reunion between rudy and sara (who if i recall is also a follower of millis just like with norn and zenith) and his two wives
definitely gonna be a lot of melodrama for the poly trio in season 3!
