It got a CERO-D which is equivalent to T or T+ in the US. True M is CERO-Z in Japan (notice every single US created M-rated title becomes Z in Japan), and even that requires censoring for nudity, which is prohibited by CERO. You need to remember CERO is completely different from any other media in Japan. In any case, like they tweeted, it won't be censored 
(NISA needs to take note!) Although all in all, from everything I've seen, it's pretty tame. Just underwear / bikinis, jiggling boobs. Dead or Alive Dimensions on the 3DS got a T too. Nothing like God of War's naked, lesbian sex scene What helped it's release in the US is the fact that it will be limited to digital only. I recall an interview saying it would be problematic selling it physically in stores. Don't worry, as predicted Kotaku has that front covered. I would expect Polygon and Joystiq to join them shortly. How DARE fanservice games exist and/or be localized? Haven't we been told enough over the past few months how wrong and offensive they are, and how anyone who likes them is a horrible person? |

Then this trailer is garbage. I didn't see that. I would have assumed it was some sort of 3D visual novel with heavy emphasis on breast physics had I not seen the quote above. |

You have got a point but I assume all of the people hyped about the franchise since 2011 are aware of the series and what genre the three games are, even if the first localised trailer where things should be especially clear. I played through the first game and you would almost not notice the fanservice because much of the game is beating up thugs and even the battles with special (but skippable) clothes damage animations can be skipped on top of the special moves and transformations. |

If I were to say I've played the Ikkitousen games, would you mock me too? Have you ever played the game? Not just watched the anime but actually played the games? There's a decent game underneath all the fan service (which, really, is quite silly to begin with.) |

Calling Senran Kagura a "silly porn game" is pretty, well, silly. Since its not a porn game.

There is actually a whole lot more to the game; a large story, and lots of battle mechanics. A good fun game can also have or even be complemented by a silly erotic aspect, like this. I reject the idea of mutual exclusion; the idea that it cannot be taken seriously unless it panders to the mainstream and removes bits the creator desires but the broader audience deems offensive. As I mentioned in the Dragon's Crown thread, there are already more than enough games to satisfy the prude or politically correct quota

You see, the difference is that I just read eromanga/nukige when I want to jack off to porn instead of playing a game that is expressely designed to be jacked off to. I jack off to porn but I at least admt to it. The really dumb breast "physics" are just the icing on this "cake". |
