I'm prety sure there is a mistake, you must have forgotten the 8th volume author, which false the list onward.
Also, Araki's McArthur has so much style! As expected from the man who drew for Gucci =D
Edit: It seems the order was fixed, now it is the proper order

That's nice. I wouldn't mind getting a copy, if I'll have the change.
Also, who did the cover for volume #20?

Araki can't stop himself from drawing people in poses, huh? And I agree that his McAArthur cover is really cool.
Oh and pretty sure the order/label of some of these are wrong. Like number 6 (by Hiroyuki Asada) and 14 are a similar style but 14 is labeled as the work of Kuragehime's Akiko Higashimura instead. While number 13, which is listed as also by Hiroyuki Asada, looks nothing like his work. The order might be jumbled up, possibly.
EDIT: Just noticed that number 9 is attributed to Sui Ishida when his cover is clearly number 10...so yea. Order is messed up.

Yeah, the order isn't right, Watsuki drew covers for 12 and 13.
I love how he got a 19th century topic again, seems like he's stuck in that era

Seems like the order was fixed!
But oh boy the more I look at them the more I'm impressed, especially Masashi Kishimoto: Cover n°1 is full Naruto style, even down to the color panel which seems out of a Naruto tome cover, but the n°5 seems almost like out of an Ukiyo-e, it reminds me of the japanese-style One Piece color pages.
Speaking of One Piece, I'm surprised Oda didn't make one, a bit disappointed...

Who's the lady on Vol. 14's cover? I feel like I've seen her before but I don't know where. I need this whole series in my life but don't want to shell out $200 for the whole set.

Yasuhisa Hara's style is so obvious! I mean, that guy looks exactly like Ryo Fui:

Many American universities do offer Japanese history courses. However, I think a lot of Japanese universities might not offer American history. I think this would be cool if they did these volumes for American history.
