I have read many different manga and two that I would love to see converted to an anime series would be "Priest" and "Battle Royale" . Both manga series are pretty mature story lines and I think that one of the reasons that they weren't made into an anime series was because of the extremely strong content that both series contain. What manga series that you've read would you like/love to see come to "anime" life?

I usually go the opposite way and only read manga from anime that I've seen so my list is pretty short.
Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunally is an alternate take on the Code Geass universe where Nunally is the main character and makes a Geass contract herself. Needless to say events unfold a bit differently.
Melty Blood, a manga based off of a fighting game which in turn spun off of a visual novel called Tsukihime. It, more or less continues with the story from that and expands the universe. It's a supernatural, action manga.
Those are the only two I've read/am reading that don't have an anime.
I'd also like the rest of the unadapted portions of Ai Yori Aoshi, Claymore, Dogs: Bullets and Carnage, Gunslinger Girl, Kare Kano, and Suzuka to be animated at some point in time. You could squeeze another whole series out of most of them, but it would be better to wait until the ongoing ones end first.

thanks for the reply. I love claymore and Gunslinger Girl also and it would be really cool to see them both continue. I watched the first season of Gunslinger Girl and a couple eps. of Il Teatrino and it seems so incomplete, like so many anime that I have watched. At least for Claymore, although it was left open, the ending to the anime wasn't as bad. I guess another big factor for not converting manga into anime would be the costs to produce the anime or to continue to produce an anime series.

Has interesting characters, good fight scenes and a plot that gets better over time. It's one of the best series currently published in JUMP and it's terribly underrated in Japan(though apparently scanlation readers worship it, I'm waiting for the Viz release mostly). If it got an anime, I could see it doing really well here, possibly even topping Bleach.

Sounds like it would be an interesting anime, I need to check out the manga. I love Bleach too and for another anime that could possibly top it, it would have to be really good.
