Aquarian Age: Juvenile Orion?

Why is it good? I've not heard of it myself, (there are a lot of things I haven't heard of, yet) though I expect someone else on this forum probably has, but please explain why you like it?

Well, I love Aquarian Age-Sign For Evolution but from your description that doesn't sound like it. There's also an OVA which was pretty mediocre and a live action movie. That's all I'm aware of in the franchise. I'd sure be interested in seeing it though, since it's a really cool universe.

The pics you've seen may have come from the RPG card game the whole franchise is based on.

I've read the manga, which had lovely art, but the ending just confused me and felt rushed.

Like Mon Colle Knights and Monster Collection, Aquarian Age is based off of a card game. It was marketed for teenage boys, so the characters were bishojo. Juvenile Orion was an attempt at marketing it towards girls, hence the bishonen characters.

So the storyline was developed first through the card game, then the manga. I found it a bit cliche because it wasn't really a shojo manga, it was a surface attempt at one, a marketing attempt. I also found the story really confusing from the first two volumes so I dropped it.

I think it's good at the length it is. Leaves me wanting more, which is a nice change from many series that I wish would end already. -_- And it's not exactly like it stops in the middle of an arc or anything, just that there's a feeling of "This could continue, there's more we can learn about the world/characters!"

The only confusing thing I remember was that it was a bit hard to tell Itsuki and Tsukasa apart from each other in the first couple of books. That, and it seems like every character called each other by different names, so it was sometimes hard to understand which character they were talking about. There's a chart in the back of one of the volumes that really helped with that.

I'm kind of in love with Sakurako Gokurakuin's art as a consequence of reading this series. Which is probably not a good thing, since she tends to do hentai manga more than anything else, from what I've seen. -_-

well tsukasa amou and naoya itsuki do look simaler but amou looks a little younger and more care free while itsuki looked older and more serious. and also they call each other different names because they all kno each other in a different way. like for instace mana dosnt really know everyone very well so she uses honorifics (like for example she calls tsukasa amou, amou-kun). and i do agree im glad is isnt as long as naruto but i do wish it was longer than 5 books.

I think the way I started telling them apart is by the difference in hair-antena, actually. xD That, and their eyes became much different. They really became defined over the series, but in the first volume they look pretty similar some times.

I know why they all call each other by different names, but at the time I just found it needlessly confusing. It was one of the first manga I'd ever read, and I didn't really understand that their levels of closeness were signified by what they called each other. Now that I know more about Japanese culture, and have read the series many times over, it's easy to follow.

I wish it was longer too, but like I said, that's better than wishing it would end. I'll take what I can get and be happy.
