I just hope the authoring isn't sub-par. Assuming this is coming out on disc.

I was actually kinda worried this would not get picked up by anybody. Good to hear I was wrong.

So, uh, given the recent news about Starz, are we likely to actually see this make it out?

Been a while since they got something I was actually interested in again.

braves: No kidding. I'm still hoping for an R1 release for Mindgame and Nasu.

That's just fantastic. It seems like Anchor Bay is actually making a comeback and they're really coming through with the good stuff.

I am also not holding out hope for a flawless release. This is the company that can't release a decent transfer of Ghost in the Shell to save its life.

Manga got it?! Well there goes any hope of getting a quality R1 release. Looks like we get to look forward to sub-par authoring, disc quality, and extras.

Oh, and Redline looks so awesome, glad they've picked it up, this looks like something that'll play well with a dub too.

Read or Die came out during their last transfer. I imagine the company'll just continue as is until the actual sale occurs, and then they'll only change things around if they feel like it, once things have settled.

Given Manga's promoting it at SDCC, I imagine we'll see it before the end of the year- they've probably already started production

For the record I would rather it come out from someone than not at all. Didn't mean to be so negative I am glad I will be able to get my hands on this. However, with as visually "slick" as this movie is supposed to be, Manga/Anchor Bay wasn't the best thing my eyes could have seen.

A Manga/Anchor Bay release huh.... boooooo!
I'm not so happy of the transfer Manga did of Noein.
I hoped that was the last thing I would have to get from them. I
hate those annoying bluring lines or whatever that occurred on Noein's discs'.

Oh well, I do want to see Redline and First Squad, hope there's a bluray release for Redline, that film looks beautiful!

It's kinda sad that Tokko had some of the best quality I've seen out of Manga. I popped it in the ol' Blu-Ray player and it looked better than some of the upscales. That's just sad.

The combing/interlace lines in Noein are AWFUL. As are the Engrishy subtitles. And the subtitle placement during the opening theme is rather... STUPID.

I'm glad that they got this. Hopefully they'll follow like what they're doing with First Squad with a speedy release after announcement (of course after the movie has been officially released) and Blu-ray. I was pleased with their Blu-ray release of Ghost in the Shell 2.0 overall, besides the poor quality of the original film on there and a lack of a new dub. Also liked how they handled Dante's Inferno. Can't wait to watch this!
