More publishers in trouble, uh-oh. Also MMV stated they would not be publishing games outside of Japan anymore,(not that they were stopping licences to other pubishers).
They sold thier 50% share in Rising Star Games in January. Cutting production costs and just making things for estabished franchises isn't too bad though. Unfortunate that they were pushing more original content, and that it keeps failing. |

I love catching your MST3K references. "Turned down that annoying Beatles group again."

I'm not into the fighting games, but I can appreciate the winning poem immensely. "Down, down-forward, right." I hated fighting games because I could never get the button combos to work. Hence why I never got into Street Fighter. I feel the pain.

Cool, I wasn't expecting to win.
The Snuggie will become a permanent fixture on my Anime Press Your Luck gameboard where it will eventually be won by a lucky(?) contestant at a convention near you! |

I had that PC Mega Man game, and it did indeed suck. Although, they also had a port of Mega Man X that came out later that was perfect.

That DOS Megaman video was hilarious.
I liked the winning poem, good job! I'm pretty bad at fighting games; I button mash until I randomly find something that does something, then just repeat it. |

Not a bad poetry corner at all, though its not quite my favourite fighting game related poetry corner...

Megaman online rpg? Well, that does sound slightly interesting....If handled well of course.
When is this game released or is there a releae date on Capcom's site? |

MMX Online? Oh god no. I just don't see this working. Why couldn't they just leave well enough alone? Picture it: tons of players who'll put up screenshots of their generic Maverick Hunters on art sites (though that's not nearly as bad as all the Gaia and WoW freaks who put up screenshots of their crappy avatars nonstop expecting people to care: "This is my avatar. Isn't he/she/it cool?").
Blue Dragon Awakened Shadow, oh sure. Keep making new Blue Dragon games when some of us haven't even been able to finish the first anime series. I want to stay interested in Blue Dragon, I really do, but this isn't working for me. |

Y'know I'm surprised that Capcom wants to visit the X franchise again this way. Funny thing is that "online" wasn't a major concept during the days of the SNES. But just think if it was possible then, I can only imagine how many MM fans would have "creamed" themselves just to created a character for that universe. Though I've never delved into online gaming (and never will) but I can remember my HS days when friends I knew rushed to the not-so-local gaming store to buy the latest RPG that was based off of some movie, anime, comic etc... (ie., Robotech, Mekton, Star Wars, and that other RPG game where you could actually be an anime character...kinda like being in Ninja HS when that was big).
But hey maybe it could work, but who knows. How many major fans in Japan and the US are there that would give this a shot? Well, if there are still fans for the EXE series then I can only see where this goes. Hell, FF Online is still alive and kicking. |

There's some great poetry here!
Funny thing about the haiku that emerges because there's so much mention of fighting moves and Japanese names... If you count words like "Shoryuken" by their proper number of syllables, you're heavily out of rhythm in some places (this is strikingly obvious to people who know Japanese). Nevertheless, I doubt it's something the average SF player would pick up, and moreover it doesn't detract from the awesomeness of the content. |

Well, it's seems I'm the only one so far interested in buying River City Soccer Hooligans. This is actually a remake of the sequel to the first soccer game that Kunio starred in the NES days. It was a really fun game (better than Nintendo World Cup) and I can't wait to play it online.
