Is Adult Swim still going to be showing it?

Why wouldn't they? They're showing FMA:B while FUNi does the week-after-Japan release. Viz will likely do the exact same things as with Naruto. Crunchyroll will get it the same day for members and Viz will get it the week after for free. Emerje |

Duh. It's a popular, long running series, they aren't that mean. |

What does "Crunchyroll" even mean...?

Yes, I heard somewhere (obviously, please don't quote me) that new episodes will be shown in September. This is very good news and I am glad Viz Media is doing this. However, I will only watch the English audio version, this is still good news for other fans as well. I much rather watch anime on Viz Media than Crunchyroll. |

Thank god. Hopefully this will be the demise of DB now. I have always hated that group and their subs. They always acted like a bunch of children and had horrible subs. Its been years since I watched anything they subbed but good riddance. I'll be looking forward to it on crunchyroll.

I saw this coming. I imagine they'll do it a week later. Although it is weird they can't announce that part.
I just wish either them or CR would get caught up really fast. I refuse to watch the episodes between where AS stopped and where it's airing right now through fansubs. |

You know I always wonder that myself
True, I had problem with fansubs anime that came with censorship (fansubbers did not do those censorship, the anime they fansubs is the Japanese network broadcast and they are subject to censorship). I remember seeing a Air Gear fansubs that had all the nudity censored (as in crows covering up naughty part including Simca's). Girls Bravo was the first fansubs anime I found out which is censored and I saw the uncut dub from Geneon and I started to find out that most of the fansubs anime I watch are censored (by Japanese network). It's true there could be uncut and uncensored fansub anime, but the problem how do I know that anime is uncensored (like there's nudity, graphic violence), also the problem with fansubs are the mistranslation and word being substituted like this one shot from Ghost In the Shell. Here's one with a inaccurate translation. |

Can anyone explain what this "'Quick-cast' program" is? I know that old episodes of Bleach are released through Hulu, will it be the same for these new episodes that Viz plans on streaming?

It's not specified yet, but I'd imagine the new episodes will be released a week after they are uploaded on CR. (meaning that they're uploaded almost exactly a week after they air in Japan.) |
