So, how exactly do I go about crediting Shingo Yamashita for this task (残り全部)? According to his wiki sakuga page, he's responsible for the key animation, in-between animation, backgrounds, etc.? So I do list those tasks specifically or do I just use something like "all animation" or something like that? I'm leaning on listing those tasks specifically, but I'd like someone else's opinion. |

IMHO the tasks should be listed individually/specifically.

I have seen errors on sakuga@wiki before now though and I'm wondering where they got the specific tasks from if they weren't actually in the credits - other than just assuming based on what wasn't specifically credited. I don't know how desirable it is, but I believe I have in the past used "ending animation" as a task where the specifics are unclear.

The simple solution would be to enter the credits as given in kanji (in the original video as shown by your screenshot) and leave it for the translation specialists to cope with this question. I consider the results of this procedure to be better than if each and every contributor tries to do this on their own.

This particular "task" is meaningless out of the context it is used in the credits (it is literally "all the rest", i.e. all roles related to the ending animation other than storyboards, direction and supervision which are specifically credited).

You have a point, Shiroi. I guess the uncommon way of crediting somebody left me astray. This is similar to other solo efforts for EDs ala Norimitsu Suzuki. I'll go with "Animation (ED)". But thanks for the help, everybody. |

It occurs to me that one way of listing it would be to write "everything except ..." in the precision.

Hm, I changed it to that for now (adding the rest of the tasks he didn't do). It seems to be an appropriate middle ground, but it might be a bit too long for a precision note. I think it's just fine considering the circumstances.
