Now why couldn't we have had Domo & Friends in the US version? That would've been so much more awesome! lol

Only slightly less plausible than Ewoks and Jaxxon.

I wonder when will Lucaarts will do a Star War anime anthology. Star War has already gone beyond the movie like books, comic book, video game, animated series, and it has a manga series in Japan. I think it would be nice to see a expanded Star War series as a anime anthology. I remember reading off of Kotaku why Mark Hamill never voiced Luke Skywalker in any game or animated series. Having a anime anthology that show a older Luke Skywalker would probably get Mark Hamill come back to reprise his role. Also the anthology should show what happen between episode 3 and 4.

^ | | | THIS! Yes I too want to see an anime Anthology for Star Wars. I know Lucas picked a Japanese character designer (the designer for Shuffle! I believe) for a illustrated book or something if my memory serves me) so why not see an anime Anthology? Yeah they're very mixed bags of good and bad usually, and yeah there's been The Animatrix, Gotham Knight and now Halo Legends but I think anthologies are fantastic ways to give various studios from Japan exposure and to see how different people interpret an expansive universe. And there's been the long overdue Post-Jedi Purge (but pre-Battle of Endor) tv series so why not let this be a prelude to it. Come on LucasFilm I'm sick of the Clone Wars already! |

Star War has already expanded to all medium. Star War has gone overto manga in Japan. But there's one medium that Star War never touched, anime. I think it's time for Lucafilms to go to that field. I'm not only expecting Studio 4c, Madhouse, and Production IG to be involved. I want to see GONZO, Sunrise, AIC, Studio Ghibli, Toei Animation, JC Staff, Kyoto Animation, and maybe a lot other studio to do the Star War anime anthology. It would be an honor if many anime studio get involved. Star War is not only a American pop icon, it's also a Japanese pop icon. Also, this anime would be a good opportunity for Mark Hamill to come back as Luke Skywalker (an older Luke). |
