Kouki MIYATA is said to be known as both "Harunori Miyata" and "Hajimenori Miyata" for his former works.
But I can't find any source that would back up the name of "Hajimenori" with a kanji notation (including his Japanese Wikipedia page) while this statement occurs at quite a few sites out there. One of the two cast entries credited to "Hajimenori" is Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne as Akita. I happen to know a kanji source that gives credit for the role of Akita (秋田) to 宮田 始典 which is read "MIYATA Harunori" according to his english Wikipedia page. Note that "Hajimenori" isn't even a name in EDICT. But the two kanji 始 (Hajime) and 典 (Nori) would allow this reading if not taken as combination (for which EDICT gives "Harunori", "Tomonori" and "Motonori" as valid reading). Could it be that "Hajimenori" is simply a kanji misreading that made it into an urban legend all over the web? |

I think this post is the reason why the entries were merged in the first place, and it does state that "Hajimenori" is a misreading.
