It always sucks to hear about people going before their time.
I'm not a huge fan of rap or hip hop but I did enjoy SamCham and thought the music worked for it quite well.

Dude wasn't just an anime composer but probably one of the better rap composers around today. |
I have most of his albums, including the work he did with Jay-z (not my favorite out of many other albums he made with other artists), he's one of the best underground hiphop / instrumental artist in the world. I am truly saddened by this.

I can't summon up any words to describe my shock and sadness over Seba's sudden death. It's an absolute shame to see such an extraordinary talent like him pass before his time. And it's also unfortunate that this is the third great musician recently to have died as soon as they did (Eri Kawai and Michael Jackson being the other two). I really hope his music gets released in the U.S. and elsewhere so that his work can garner even greater attention and appreciation. My condolences to his family and friends, and R.I.P.

This was one of those rare headlines that brought my mood down, it wasn't that long ago that I bumping Modal Soul for all to hear. "Feather" has got to be one of my favorite songs of all times, I can't even begin to guess how many times I've listened to that track. May he rest in peace and may his music live on forever.

Wishing death on people really isn't cool, bro.

This is truly sad news to hear, I really enjoyed his music, so much so that I bought the Samurai Champloo Soundtrack. He and his music will very much be missed.

Yeah I love the man outside of Champloo, from his collaborations with Fat Jon and Five Deez to a personal fave of mine CYNE.

your not the only one. That OP along with Black Lagoon's OP are probably the two songs that both countries liked and consider the best for those time periods. too bad the series didn't too too great cause of the god forsaken timeslot that AS placed it otherwise the series and the OP would have been another AS classic.

Well this news made me stop in my tracks when I read it earlier today. While I'm not what I consider a huge fan of Samurai Champloo the song "Aruarian Dance" from one of the soundtracks has been a big favorite of mine since I first heard it and I knew the name of the artist from the mp3 info. This is a really sad turn of events and I'd like to send my condolences to his family and friends. He really was a gifted artist and he'll be missed

Sad to hear a talent like him pass well before his time. Hopefully his music will live on with fans of the past and present. RIP
