Kind of ironic they're being so friendly, considering how many hoops they made AX staff and attendees jump through to even glimpse 'em. Rolling Eyes

Ah, good times. I got their autographs though, so yay.

Anyway, in this case, the fans aren't seeing them here. And the book did have to pass through hands before getting to CLAMP.

Yeah, well, as one of their fans, I'd appreciate it if they'd finish some of the manga that they've started.

I HEARD they were pretty mean. The whole AX staff thing, flipping off fans. Of course this is what I HEARD. I have no idea how true that stuff is.

When I heard that I stopped reading their stuff for like a whole week. >.> What? Their works are fantastic.

I didn't hear about the making of this fanbook until a couple of months ago, so I hope CLAMP keeps creating new works so that I can send some fan appreciation in the future!

If I remember correctly, that was just for the Dark Horse editors to look it over before sending it to Japan, not something they had to do, they just figured it was a good idea.

Like the hoops all celebs make fans jump thru at events? I remember the year at Comic-con they had to close off all 3 escalators in one spot JUST so Angelina Jolie could enter to promote Tomb Raider. Or last year when they wheeled Ray Bradbury thru the salesfloor with someone 3 feet ahead yelling to clear the way for special guest Ray Bradbury coming thru. Or the handful of fans who actually got to get an autograph from Tite Kubo a couple years back because it was limited. (In fact, most autograph sessions are limited in time at least). Most of the manga-ka who have shown up at Comic-con don't allow pictures (compared to the Korean authors I've encounters who have all been very willing to allow pix & sign whatever-a lot of the Japanese authors don't seem to like signing their books.)
