Would it be possible every time a contest is held to have the number of entrants revealed when the winners are posted? This is an incredibly minor thing, but I'm always curious as to how many people entered a given contest at ANN.
Actually, what would be really super cool is to have the number of entrants announced after the deadline closes but BEFORE the winners are announced. That way, we'd know our odds of winning beforehand. Tallying that info may be too much of a pain, though. |

Didn't Bamboo say how many people had entered the pumpkin-carving competition before the winners were announced? I think there was something like 110 entries. But yeah, she told us that in the forums; there isn't an official method of telling us the number of entries.

Yeah, just be patient, it sometimes takes a bit for the admins to get back on the suggestions, particularly this time of year.

It would be very easy to do. In terms of sponsored contests we inform the sponsor how many entrants there are.
But I'm not 100% certain its something we should be sharing publicly... -t |

Thank you for the reply. Certainly, if there is a reason not to make that info public, I understand. It was a stray thought more than anything, but I thought there might be other people who would be interested in knowing, as well.
