i just watched castle in the sky and i was wondering if the spell of destruction, balus (i think), acually has a translation because when sheeta was talking with pazu, she said that it gave her nightmares but the spell was one word right?

I remembered it was a string of words. Didn't they actually recite those words together after Sheeta whispered them to Pazu, near the end of the show when Pazu tricked the baddie that he has the levistone with him?

he did have the stone and recited the spell together, and tricked him but im pretty sure the spell was one word. you might be thinking about the spell that sheeta said that activated the crystal's sacred light

Ah, I've got to go back to watch it again. Can't remember rightly (brain's already 30 years old, not too good). In any case, I hate to have to do that, 'cos it's got a bitter-sweet ending (unlike Kiki or Totoro), but that's just my opinion.
