I caught like the last 3 minutes of the rerun of the anime unleashed marathon of Last Exile which aired today. I would've been furious if I hadn't seen it the first run of the marathon. So anyway, so far Tech TV (or now known as G4Tech TV) has shown the first 13 episodes of the series. Any news on when the other 13 are going to be shown. It's such a great series and I'd love to catch the end of it. I know there are fan subs out for it but I've seen 13 episodes in the dub (which isn't badly done either) might as well see the rest of them in dub. I'm not too sure if this topic has been asked before or how long it was since this topic has been discussed. Thanks for your help in advanced.

G4TechTV says this: "Episodes 1 through 12 will be shown the week of March 8, along with a special "sneak peek" on Sunday, March 14, of episode 13, which has not yet been released on DVD. The remaining 13 episodes of the series will air in early 2005."(G4TechTV.com) Before you ask why are they doing this, the answer probably has something to do with the DVD releases. The last DVD of Last Exile is scheduled to be released in December of this year, so the remainder of the series will be aired in probably January. Hope this helps ~LoneWolf |

I like the dub as well.
For some reason, G4TechTV has disappeared from our cable, and we've yet to call the cable company We just bought volume 4 from Best Buy ($25 is insane) It's my boyfriend's favorite series...and in fact we're in the process of making a Tatiana costume...we need a 28" black zipper... |

It eats ya up inside waiting for the next DVD release date of Last Exile. Thankfully the unquenchable need for more exile usually dies down (for me at least) a week later and I can go on living a somewhat productive life
I really wish they would have had a better deal than waiting till 2005 to show the remaining 13 episodes . Though I wouldn't be surpised to see something change and maybe even show earlier before the last dvd release Anyway. Ouch... $24.99 for the DVD at Best Buy , thankfully my Best Buy had it on sale (or maybe not a sale price) for $19.99. |

OUCHY $36.00 USA = 20.00 (Pound symbol) pounds. Almost a 2:1 ratio.
I've always known it was more expensive in GB but yozza. I just hope the economy (sigh whats that economic term) is adjusted to allow people to buy DVD and be able to buy food for the week. |

Perhaps I am evil.. but this sounds like a suggestion for our friends across the pond to get a non-regionally coded dvd player and see if they could save money on region 1 dvd's.... |

Infact i do have a Multi-region DVD player, but the sites here which import stuff charge snobby amounts for anime dvds, if there is a series which was only released in the u.s that i really want (Trigun, cowboy bebop and Rurouni kenshin to name a few) then il get it from the import sites, otherwise, il stick with expensive ol' british R2 dvds.

Try Right Stuf International they ship to anywhere with an address. They're shipping rates are reasonable for overseas and the more you buy the better it gets, would certainly be an alternative.
However, $35 for a DVD in the UK, isn't that bad, it's only $5 more than what we pay for MSRP. Emerje |
