I'm just curious, is Akira retired from anime and manga altogether or has he done anything post-DB.

Sand Land's the only one I know of by name, but I know he's done other projects. Try looking him up in the Encyclopedia.

I just found out he did the art for the game Chrono Trigger but looks like he hasn't done anything since that.

That was awhile ago, back in the 90s. Toriyama's done other stuff in that time, like Sand Land.

Whee, I submitted that picture!

Since Dragonball, the only manga series he has written/illustrated (not counting the Dr. Slump anime sequel and movies that TOEI did) are Kajika, Sandland, Cowa!, and the infamous one-shot DBZ parody Neko Majin Z.

The encyclopedia while good for anime, isn't very thorough at all when it comes to manga. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually drew several times the manga that are listed under him.

He currently works for Square Enix designing characters for the Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior series. I assume he does other projects on the side as well.

he's also been drawing the covers on the new Dragonball graphic novels with 15 chapters and he also redid the ending of Dragonball on the last graphic novel.
