I don't know whether this will be any good, but the webpage is rather extraordinary (it's in English, Russian, and Japanese) and worth checking out.

You know. I think the Nazis may have fared better in the war if they had spend less time and effort on shit like this. I mean first they tried to find the Ark of the Covenant. That ended in face melting. Then there was all that business with the Vampire super soldiers. That failed. Twice. Then they tried to summon Hellboy. Another failure. Then they tried to find the Holy Grail. I recall that ended with a tank going over a cliff. You'd think they'd have put two and two together by this point. World domination through supernatural means is not for everyone. Sometimes you've just got to do it the old fashioned way with armies and shit.

I hope this plays at the Toronto film festival in September. A Canadian company is producing it right? So hopefully it stands a good chance of being shown!

ikillchicken's post reminds me of Wolfenstein 3D somehow. I take it the judges in Moscow must have taken interest in the story chiefly as an individual piece of narrative, as opposed to an account of historical events.

I want this to come out already, I'm tired of not being able to see it.
